'Blockchain Technology and Smart Contracts' - ELI 2020

Martin Hanzl will speak this year at the annual conference of the European Law Institute (ELI) as one of the project leaders of the working group "Blockchain Technology and Smart Contracts".

This year, the conference will take place virtually from Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11.  A detailed agenda can be found here.

Martin Hanzl will speak on Thursday, September 10th, together with

  • Sjef van Erp (Professor in Maastricht),
  • Dirk Staudenmeyer (Head of Unit for Contract Law of the DG Justice and Consumers at the European Commission),
  • Juliette Sénéchal (Professor in Lille) and
  • Stephan Karpischek (co-founder of Etherisc).

The talk will present the results of the working group so far. Afterwards there will be time for a Q&A session.Registrations can be made directly with the ELI Secreteriat.
